COSMO CONSULT is once more among the finalists for the Microsoft Global Partner of the Year Award.

The COSMO CONSULT Group is once again a finalist for the Microsoft Global Partner of the Year Award in the category Business Applications - subcategory Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Microsoft has recognized COSMO CONSULT, an expert in the field of digital transformation, for its successful "Move2SaaS" strategy. With this strategy, COSMO CONSULT helps companies migrate from conventional installations in their own data centers to modern, cloud-based business platforms.
The Global Partner of the Year Award is presented annually by Microsoft in around 50 different categories. With the award, Microsoft recognizes successful partners, taking into consideration their skill sets, their industry orientation, their affinity for cloud technologies, and their entrepreneurial spirit. “These partners were outstanding among the exceptional pool of nominees and I’m continuously impressed by their innovative use of Microsoft Cloud technologies and the impact for their customers,” said Nick Parker, Corporate Vice President of Global Partner Solutions at Microsoft. The award is very popular in the Microsoft community: Every year, several thousand applications are received. Finalists were honored at the Inspire Partner Conference, which was held virtually this year from 19-20 July 2022.
One of the best yet again
As it was in 2021, COSMO CONSULT is once again one of the finalists in the global rankings: the "Move2SaaS" migration initiative is the basis for this honor. It is a global concept developed in line with Microsoft's modernization initiative. With this initiative COSMO CONSULT is helping its current customers migrate their existing systems to the latest cloud-based business solutions of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 product family with ease.
In Germany, COSMO CONSULT made 2nd place in the national category of the competition as a runner-up. The focus here was on the virtual "Digital Consultant". This digital assistant makes it possible for companies to implement ERP projects in a standardized, cost-effective manner. This enables the customer's employees to complete part of the implementation, or even the entire project, independently.
A team especially for cloud migration
For the Move2SaaS initiative, COSMO CONSULT has established a multidisciplinary, international team specifically to ensure the smooth transition of companies to the cloud worldwide. It is made up of experienced consultants, technical upgrade experts and cloud technology specialists. "High levels of security, modern methods of working, and a great degree of flexibility: companies benefit greatly from the many advantages of the cloud. It was clear to us that we had to build up expertise in this area quickly. That is best accomplished with a standardized, highly scalable concept and a portfolio that is comprehensively geared to deployment in the cloud," says Klaus Aschauer, a director at the COSMO CONSULT Group.
Transformation and a new business model
It may sound simple at first but requires many changes. "In contrast to the traditional licensing business, the cloud necessitates customer-oriented procurement and user models. They require greater standardization while at the same time providing more flexibility and security. For us, this change meant transforming our long-standing business model," says Aschauer. He and the team are all the more pleased about the success: "For us it is an honor, and also a confirmation, that we obviously struck a chord with Move2SaaS. I congratulate our team for earning this great award. It is the product of extensive international cooperation in which many people have participated. With innovative ideas like these, we are ensuring that our customers are digital transformation’s winners."
